The Social Break-Up

ExactTarget, a social media and email marketing services company conducted a new survey to shed light on social break-ups, that occur when consumers opt-out of email, or un-follow and unlike a company. The top three reasons were;

  1. Emails came too frequently
  2. The Content became repetitive or boring over time
  3. I receive too many emails and needed to get off some companies’ lists
